ImaGENation (Imagine-Nation) is a capacity-building program that supports Indigenous youth-led clean energy projects grounded in kinship, mentorship, and a shared energy future.

Facilitated in partnership between SevenGen, Indigenous Clean Energy, and Student Energy.

Applications have now closed as of March 1st, 2024.

Cohort 2 applications were extended to March 1st, 2024 to allow for more applications from Indigenous Youth pursuing projects in Quebec, the Atlantic provinces, and the Territories.

Interested in Being Employed Full-Time?

ICE offers a wage subsidy for participants that want to do a project in their community. Your community may be eligible to apply as an employer through the Generation Power program to hire you as an employee while you develop and launch your clean energy project.

Generation Power provides a 75% wage subsidy up to $30,000 for employers who hire Indigenous youth under 30.
